Medical oncology
Medical oncology is the branch of medicine that deals with all types of cancer. Anyone who suffers from cancer will be sent to the medical oncology department. Patients who are suspected of having cancer may also be referred to the medical oncology department. This department will determine if the lump or lesion is related to cancer. They will then determine the best course of treatment.

Depending on the stage of the cancer, radical treatment on behalf of the medical oncology department may be required. Radiation or chemotherapy are two ways to help a patient with cancer. There are also medicinal herbs and medications that can be used. The medical oncology department will have research labs for the development of new treatments of cancer cells.
